Symptoms

Data Pump export hangs when exporting to NFS location. Dump file size is 4 KB.

The job is in a DEFINING state:

SQL> select job_name, state from dba_datapump_jobs;

JOB_NAME                       STATE
------------------------------ ------------------------------
<JOB_NAME>                     DEFINING
