This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
This problem was observed in 9.2.0.7 on a HP-UX PA-RISC (64-bit) server.
A PL/SQL procedure was attempting to create a string variable that was greater than 32K.
This shows up in the alert log as an error:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [733], [268431488], [pga heap]
