Symptoms

 

 

After installation of  Oracle RDBMS 10.1.0.3  the Oracle Transparent Gateway for RMS
is not present even though the OpenVMS symbol for TG4RMS is created.


$ show symbol tg4rms

TG4RMS == "$ora_root:[bin]tg4rms.exe"

$ dir ora_root:[bin]tg4rms.exe
%DIRECT-W-NOFILES, no files found

dir ora_root:[000000...]tg4rms.exe
%DIRECT-W-NOFILES, no files found
