Symptoms

 

After the installation of Oracle 10.2. on hp Alpha OpenVMS the GUI tools (NETCA and DBCA)
crash with SIGBUS 10* bus error, SYSTEM-F-OPCCUS and SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO.

When the DBCA and/or NETCA are called in the Oracle Universal Installer during
software installation or on command line, the following crash dump output is shown
in the installation log or output back to the screen:
