Trying to do a DataPump export to a directory created on null device and getting errors like the following example:

1) DataPump directory was created like below:

SQL> Create directory datapump as '/oracle/GP2/saptrace/datapump';
SQL> GRANT read, write ON datapump TO system;

export.dmp is a symbolic link to null device:

SQL> !ls -l /oracle/GP2/saptrace/datapump/exportdp.dmp

-> lrwxrwxrwx 1 oragp2 dba 9 Jan 14 08:54

/oracle/GP2/saptrace/datapump/exportdp.dmp -> /dev/null

2) Trying to export to that directory gives errors like:

ORA-31693: Table data object "SAPR3"."TST03" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to
ORA-31643: unable to close dump file "/oracle/GP2/saptrace/datapump/exportdp.dmp"
ORA-19510: failed to set size of 29272 blocks for file
"/oracle/GP2/saptrace/datapump/exportdp.dmp" (blocksize=4096)
ORA-27042: not enough space on raw partition to fullfill request
