ORA-600[KKQSADJP-1] ERROR MESSAGES (Doc ID 551477.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 10.2.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This error was observed on Oracle 10.2.0.3 64-bit on a HP-UX PA-RISC64-bit server.  It has been observed on earlier 10gR2 releases as well.

Symptoms:

- Users have errors when running queries.

- The Alert log can give this error: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kkqsadjp-1].
The alert log can also give a simple ORA-7445

- The failing statement in the trace file is varied.  However, you can take the tables used in the failing SQL statement and search to see if there are Materialized views created on these tables. A list of materialized views can be obtained from dba_objects where object_type is 'MATERIALIZED VIEW'. If materialized views are created on  these tables, this is another indication of this bug.

- The error usually stops when query_rewrite_enabled = false

Call stack usually has function kkqsadjp at the top of the stack. e.g. :
ksedst ksedmp ksfdmp kgerinv kgeasnmierr
kkqsadjp kkqsgtjp kkqsgjpc kkqsJGCleanUpDropJo kkqsRTDrv kkqsbqjg kkqspsum
kkqsedrv kkqseqb

OR

ksedmp ssexhd sigacthandler
kkqsadjp kkqsdjgp kkqsbsjg kkqsechk kkqspsum kkqsedrv kkqseqb
kkqsrqb kkqsrmav kkqscqb kkqsptq kkqsptqur

Changes

If materialized views were recently created or refreshed, this may trigger the error.
