How to Send Emails with UTL_SMTP containing Unicode Characters in Mail Subject and Body (Doc ID 553542.1)

Goal

This note describes howto send emails containing UNICODE characters using UTL_SMTP package in mail subject and mail body from within Unicode (Example #1) oder Non-Unicode (Example #2) databases.

The sample code contains a PLSQL example which determines automatically if connected to Unicode or Non-Unicode databases and send email with arabic digits in mail subject and mail body.
