Use Of Database Templates with Standard Edition Cause Problems With OLAP (Doc ID 556194.1)

The situation described in this note is caused by the following conditions (all of which have to be present):

A typical error that is shown during the creation of the instance looks like this:

ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception
ORA-06512: at "OLAPSYS.CWM$UTIL", line 394
ORA-01403: no data found
ORA-06512: at line 1691

Note that line numbers and object names may be different. The key element is that the object belongs to the OLAPSYS schema.


A new instance of the database is being configured using DBCA and a template other than Custom had been chosen.
