Symptoms
The situation described in this note is caused by the following conditions (all of which have to be present):
- Using Standard Edition of Oracle RDBMS 10g or 11g
- Create a database instance using DBCA
- Select a template other than Custom
A typical error that is shown during the creation of the instance looks like this:
Note that line numbers and object names may be different. The key element is that the object belongs to the OLAPSYS schema.
Changes
A new instance of the database is being configured using DBCA and a template other than Custom had been chosen.
