Symptoms
When installing any product containing a "pre-seeded" database on a Linux server, at the moment of the creation of the seeded database, the installation simply stops and hangs forever. This was initialy diagnosed in an Oracle Secure Search install, but it is likely to happen on any product that might invoke DBCA for database instance creation.
The Database Configuration Assistant prints the following output on the installActions<date>.log:
