Symptoms
The following errors are shown in the alert log file:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [npierr..] [SIGSEGV]
[Address not mapped to object] [0x4] [] []
found dead shared server 'S000', pid = ...
ORA-07445 is happening in 'npierr' with stack trace showing 'xct_com_with_options' calling 'npicom.'
The Call Stack can look like this:
npierr npixfc npicom xctcom_with_options kksExecuteCommand opiexe...
This error can be raised by the "commit" command on a distributed transaction.
