Goal
The index chosen by the RDB optimizer is less efficient than another available index. Applying a query outline will override the decision made by the optimizer, allowing a user to control how the dynamic optimizer executes given queries. In most cases the Rdb Optimizer chooses the most efficient index, so exercise caution when modifying the dynamic optimizer strategy and always test the performance.
