Troubleshooting - Where to Begin:
Where to Begin, depends on the problem reported!
· Primary OSB resources:
o Backup/restore Job transcript and / or properties
o Daemon (process) logs
o Device logs
· External environmental areas to review
o Operating System configuration settings
o Confirm OSB user has correct OS privileges to perform backup and restore operations
o Tape device is accessible to host?
