Symptoms
A simple select statement fails intermittently with ORA-600 [kdsgrp1]. This error can also be seen when DML is occurring on the table.
An "analyze table <table name> validate structure cascade" does not produce any errors.
The stack trace looks like the following:
kdsgrp <- kdsfbr <- kafept <- opigln <- kpov2lng <- kpofcr <- qertbFetchByRowID
If ORA-600 [KDSGRP1] is raised intermittently, but the index structure is fine, then it's likely you hit this bug.
Changes
The error started after a primary key was added to the table.
