How To Pass The Java Memory Parameter Values To Increase The Performance Of Oracle Data Miner On Windows. (Doc ID 738928.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 26, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Data Mining - Version 10.1.0.2 and later
z*OBSOLETE: Microsoft Windows

Goal

You are using Oracle Data Miner ( odminer.exe ) and doing some complex clustering models.

One of the problems you keep hitting is running out of memory and delays due to jvm garbage collection.
Now you would like to start up the jvm with about 512M of heap space to increase the performance.

Is there a way to start up the jvm by passing the heap memory parameter values like, "java -Xms***m -Xmx***m" on Windows as the Oracle Data Miner is run via odminer.exe ?
