This note demonstrate how to use OCI to insert unicode characters (here a Japanese Character "の" [\u306e] Unicode plus leading "a" and trailing "b")  into a  NVARCHAR column from a Database with NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET=AL16UTF16
