Symptoms
Asynchronous Change Data Capture intermittently fails with ORA-01722 or ORA-01438 errors during apply. Most of the transactions in DBA_APPLY_ERROR can be re-executed successfully.
The apply server traces seems to show some kind of bind corruption for the error transaction as shown below:
