Using Client 10.2.0.4 on Linux x86 32bit (Red Hat EL5P2) in combination with unixODBC 2.2.12 and trying to use IBM Websphere application server running as "root" using Oracle ODBC Driver 10.2.0.4 fails with

while using isql as root user works and capable to connect via Oracle ODBC Driver 10.2.0.4

Changes

UnixODBC 2.2.12 is shipped together with Red Hat EL5P2 and fails in combination with Oracle ODBC Driver.
