In a number of cases you want to know the (recursive) dependencies of an object, for example:
- which object did trigger recompilation of the object in question
- which object does prevent compilation of the object in question (example datadictionary object in wrong schema)
A question might be which objects are dependent of a specific object (reverse of dependencies overview), for example:
- which objects will become invalid if specific object is dropped
- what is the dependency chain pointing to this specific object
