ORA-00600 [17093] and ORA-00600 [kkmendsel-pin] Errors Continuously (Doc ID 756592.1)

Symptoms

This issue is observed on Oracle 10.2.0.3 on a Solaris 64-bit server.

It is applicable to any platform and version.

The error may show up as ORA-00600 [17093] and ORA-00600[kkmendsel-pin] in the alert log, at startup time, after database mount, and before opening the database.
It will reproduce with each startup attempt, and it will reproduce if the database is cloned.

The alert log may show messages similar to these:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17093], [0x498A66758], [0], [0], [], [], [], []
Error 0 in kwqmnpartition(), aborting txn
Error 0 in kwqmnpartition-update_aqs_instance, aborting txn
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kkmendsel-pin], [0x498A66758], [0x490365AB0], [0x490366B10], [SYS], [DBA_QUEUES], [], []
Completed: ALTER DATABASE OPEN
