The goal of this sample is to demonstrate compiling a small sample that uses Oracle's Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET) in order to validate an install.
The sample is compiled using the .NET Framework SDK in order to avoid the need for Visual Studio to be installed.
The steps as written are for the unmanaged Oracle Data Provider for .NET. Refer to the Note sections for the minor changes needed if testing the fully managed provider.
