Symptoms
OPatch fails to apply a fix mentioning that the required amount of space is not sufficient while there is enough free space available:

Error returned: Value too large for defined data type
Prerequisite check "CheckSystemSpace" failed.
The details are:
Required amount of space(66330) is not available.
ApplySession failed during prerequisite checks: Prerequisite check "CheckSystemSpace" failed.
OPatch failed with error code 74
-> Error returned: Value too large for defined data type
