ORA-07445[kghpir] Error Raised When SGA is Undersized

This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
Customer receives sporadic ORA-7445 [kghpir] errors during query execution.
Customer also has a small-sized SGA.
The following error is seen in the alert log:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kghpir()+#] [SIGSEGV]
[Address not mapped to object] [0x##] [] []
The call stack can look like this:
kghpir kxsGetRuntimeLock kksfbc opiexe opiodr rpidrus skgmstack rpidru rpiswu2 rpidrv rpiexe ...
The following memory-related error may accompany this issue in the alert log:
ORA-04031: unable to allocate ## bytes of shared memory (..)
