Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Enterprise Search - Version 10.1.8.3 to 10.1.8.4
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Problem:

In SES 10.1.8.3/10.1.8.4 Unix based installation, the oc4j.log is filling very quickly with the following error:

09/05/14 17:25:30 ERROR HTTPThreadGroup-XX null
  java.util.ConcurrentModificationException
  java.util.HashMap$HashIterator:nextEntry:782
  java.lang.Thread:run:534

It grows so fast that it fills up the file system and finally the server crashes due to lack of space. The only way to recover is to reboot and clean the log files.

This problem affects SES 10.1.8.3.0 and 10.1.8.4.
