Goal

The goal of this document is to provide instructions on how to generate an AWR report. 

AWR is an acronym for "Automatic Workload Repository" and is a collection of persistent system performance statistics owned by SYS.  It resides in SYSAUX tablespace. By default snapshots are generated once every 60 minutes and maintained for 7 days.
