Goal

You are trying to determine the status of files using V$ views after a failed backup operation using the ALTER TABLESPACE <file_name> BEGIN BACKUP command.

You have had a failed ALTER TABLESPACE <file_name> BEGIN BACKUP on a tablespace or datafiles for various reasons and need to determine the state of the files or
tablespaces in question.
