Goal
Give advice on installing 11g Gateway products when there is already an install of Oracle products at an earlier version.
This does not apply where there is already an Oracle install at the same level as the gateway being installed. In that case the 11g gateway can be installed into the existing ORACLE_HOME at the same level but it will then also be necessary to re-apply any patch sets to bring the base gateway to the same level as the existing install.
