Symptoms

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

A Journal / Encumbrance Entry failed posting with an error.

"APP-SQLGL-08046 The batch you selected is either not postable, already selected for posting, or being posted."


This has been corrected and now the journal needs to be re-posted.

You are trying to re-post this batch as follows:

Responsibility = General Ledger Super User GUI
GUI Navigation = Journals/Post
GUI Form Name = GLXJEPST (Post Journals)

1. Query the batch to post by entering the name of the Batch in the Find Journals screen and clicking on the [Find] button.

2. The batch is greyed out on the Post Journals screen. If you try to select the batch for posting, you receive the following error:
APP-08046: The batch you selected is either not postable, already selected for posting or being posted.
