SmartLinks Retaining Criteria from Earlier Executed Saved Query (Doc ID 1055331.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 5.5.05 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A Saved Query is executed on a Business Object in a Finder Results screen. Actions are taken upon this object and later SmartLinks are then executed on this same business object type. This SmartLink is returning incorrect information as it includes the Criteria from the first Saved Query in its search.

As an example:

A Saved Query is used to search for an Order Release. From the results screen, the order is Bulk Planned. From the Bulk Plan screen, the shipments are viewed using the Action: "View Shipments". From this shipment results, smartlinks are used to select "Related Order Releases"

This SmartLink does not return any results and it is noticed that in the SQL logs, this is including the criteria that was used in the original Saved Query used to search the Order Releases, prior to being planned.
