Oracle Transportation Management - Version: 6.0.3 - Release: 6.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On OTM version 6.0.3 setup a Remark Qualifier to use DATE however when this is used in a Screen Set DATE is not used and BEGINS WITH is used.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect DATE related Operators to be used in the Screen Set search so the Remark Field can be searched for using a Date related Operators, for example Before, After and Between.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1 - Log onto an OTM 6.0 system.

2 - Navigate to: Configuration and Administration > Power Data > Qualifiers > Remark Qualifiers and created the following:

ID: Enter as needed
Remark Level: 2
Allow Visibility on Related Shipment: ticked
Update Allows: One. Update
Qual Type: Date

3 - Navigate to: Configuration and Administration > User Configuration > Manager Layout.

4 - Search for and copied the SHIPMENT Manager Layout (Edit), creating:

ID: Enter as needed
Click Customise, Add Field and added:

Label: button.remarks
Field: Remark Text {P}
Remark Qual ID: Enter the ID created above.

Click Save and Finished.

5 - Navigate to: Configuration and Administration > User Configuration > Screen Set Manager.

6 - Search for and copy the Screen Set BUY_SHIPMENT, creating:

ID: Enter As Needed.

In the Search tab > Header Tab clicked on Add Field and add:

Field Name: Remark Text {P}
Label ID: blank.

Note: No other fields were displayed, however, once clicked n another Field Name and then back onto Remark Text {P} the Default Operator field was displayed.

7 - In the Default Operator Field drop down 'DATE' is not available.

8 - In the next screen added the Remark Qual ID created above.

9 - Once the Screen Set is saved and added to the Menu the Remark Field does not have a DATE operator (Before, After, Between) next to it but has 'Begins With' which is a TEXT operator.
