Viewing Large Output of Costing Detail Report Takes a Long Time, Then Shuts Application Down (Doc ID 1067984.1)

Symptoms

Find that when attempting to view the output of the Costing Details Report, the browser opens and displays a partial report. The report output keeps on executing for a very long time and it does not completely display the content of costing data and the browser freezes and finally closes all the windows of the application  The Costing output is very large for the parameters entered for the report.

If the report is run for a smaller data set, the output is displayed properly in a reasonable amount of time and does not close down the application.


Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Run Costing Detail report with large data volume
2. Report completes successfully
3. Click on View Output button.  
4. The report opens a browser window and executes for a long time, then freezes and shuts down the application windows.
