When Creating a New Business Object, This New Object is Not Displayed in a Drop Down List for this Object Type

Symptoms
A user creates a new Business Object (e.g. A Shipment Reference Number Qualifier). This is successfully created as seen by the ability to Search and Retrieve this in its respective Finder Screen.
On another screen, this object is available in a Drop Down list. It is found that the newly added Business Object is not included in the list of values presented in this drop down list.
Queries examples: "ShipmentRefnumQualQuery", "SavedQueryQuery", "CustomAgentEventFinderModel", "TransportHandlingUnitQuery"...etc

Expect to display a newly added entry from the drop-down list
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add a new entry to the dropdown list
2. Go to the dropdown list of concern, and check for the new value
3. The newly added value is not displayed
