Symptoms

On : 12.0.7 version, Appraisals

When HR Professional tries to change the main appraiser for the ongoing appraisal, it happens from time to time that error message appears. When it happens, the notification is not sent to the new main appraiser.

ERROR

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20002: 3133: Activity instance 'HR_APPRAISAL_MAIN_APPR_BRA_FCT' is not a notified activity for item 'HRSSA/2349'.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in as <XXX> Administrator > Appraisals
  2. Search for the ongoing appraisal by entering user's last name
  3. Click the Update button for the appraisal you would like to change the main appraiser for
  4.  Select new main appraiser
  5. Enter the notification
  6. (B) Yes
  7. The error page appears
