Service Contracts QA Check Error: Please Enter A Value For Covered Product Status Not Active In Contract Line (Doc ID 1077256.1)

Symptoms

After applying Patch 5475501 - Covered System status not Active QA Error When Contract Line Has Covered Systems and Covered Products, QA check is still giving an error.

The error happens also with only a covered product, if there is only a covered system, then there is no error.

Process Name: Check Service Effectivity
Error
Please enter a value for Covered Product status not active in contract line 1.2 Product

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to (R) Oracle Installed Base User (N) System tab.
- Add a parent system.
- Add a child system which has reference to the parent system.
- Add an instance with reference to parent system (or to child system)

2. Go to (R) Service Contracts Manager (N) Launch Contracts
- Enter a new contract
- go to Tab Lines / Pricing/Products /Effectivity.
- Add:
   system Parent System (or child system)
   product item instance
3. Go to Actions/Check QA and run the QA check
- the QA check error is displayed.
