Workflow Mailer Opens Too Many Database Sessions Sending Emails (Doc ID 1077459.1)

Symptoms


When the Workflow Mailer sends a large number of Summary Notifications, the Database connections grows until max connections is reached. An investigation using the v$session view shows that fnd.wf.worklist.server.WorklistAM holds the most Connections.
