Symptoms

Attachments added to the Item in Org1, using the standard Inventory Item form, are displayed in the Org2 and Org3 if the item is enabled in Org1, Org2 and Org3 when viewed through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) item search (Web based). Item search (Form based) is working fine. Org1 is the item master organization.

Inventory > Items > Master Items
Create new item: ATS-Item 1
Assign to child organizations M1 Seattle Manufacturing and M2 Boston Manufacturing

In the master item organization, V1 - Vision Operations
Add attachment file, 'Attachment 1.txt'.

In M1 Seattle Manufacturing add attachment file 'Attachment 2.txt'.
In M2 Boston Manufacturing add attachment file 'Attachment 3.txt'.

Development Manager:
Change Organizations > V1 Vision Operations (Item Master)
Development Manager > Item Catalog > Item Simple Search
Query item ATS-Item 1
Choose Attachment sub-tab
Item Revision AA does not show any attachment
Change Item Revision > None
Now shows 'Attachment 1.txt'

Change Organizations > M1 Seattle Manufacturing
Development Manager > Item Catalog > Item Simple Search
Query item ATS-Item 1
Choose Attachment sub-tab
Item Revision 0 does not show any attachment
Change Item Revision > None
See both 'Attachment 1.txt' and 'Attachment 2.txt'

Change Organizations > M2 Boston Manufacturing
Development Manager > Item Catalog > Item Simple Search
Query item ATS-Item 1
Choose Attachment sub-tab
Item Revision A does not show any attachment
Change Item Revision > None
See both 'Attachment 1.txt' and 'Attachment 3.txt'Inventory > Items > Master Items

As seen above, when viewing the item through the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application, the file 'Attachment 1.txt' is seen in all three organizations at the item level, revision 'None'.

The same items, as seen through the standard Inventory Items form, show only one attachment at each organization.
