Goal

Is it possible to update a sales order line in Order Management (order has a status of Entered) to reflect a newer version of the bill of materials than existed when the order line was created?

Currently have to delete the entire line and re-enter if changes are made to the BOM before we firm/book the order.

Do not want to change the item, but rather be able to update the item so that Order Management pulls in (or takes out) any changes to the PTO BOM. Let's say have an item, KIT-001, and it has two sub-assemblies at the time of order entry.  So sales Order (SO) line would like something like:

1.1 - KIT-001
1.1..1 - ASSY-001
1.1..2 - ASSY-002

Now, let's say a change is made to the BOM, such that another sub-assembly is added below KIT-001, call it ASSY-003. Opening the SO would still just show KIT-001 with ASSY-001 and ASSY-002, but not the recently added ASSY-003. If the line is deleted and re-entered, it pulls in ASSY-003 without issue, but this is tedious.
