R12 AP: Descriptive Flexfield Error: No Field Listener Is Registered To Resolve The Field Referenced By Flexfield (Doc ID 1087754.1)

Symptoms

Unable to create an invoice in iSupplier Portal due to the following error:

ERROR

No field listener is registered to resolve the field INV_SUM_FOLDER.ATTRIBUTE9 referenced by flexfield with application short name SQLAP and name AP_INVOICES.
Please contact your system administrator.


Steps to reproduce:

1. Login into iSupplier Portal as enternal vendor
2. Click on Create Invoice (with PO option)
3. Enter PO Number and click on GO
4. Enter Invoice Number and other information.
5. Click on Next and notice error
