Symptoms

During upgrade from 11i to R12, Withholding tax is not calculated on variance invoice lines.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. After R12 upgrade log into Oracle applications using a Payables responsibility.
  2. Open the Invoice Workbench
    (N) Invoices > Entry > Invoice
  3. Query an Invoice
  4. Click on Distributions button
  5. Check withholding tax is calculated for variance lines
