Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.1.0 to 6.1.2 [Release 6.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An itinerary leg is configured to have multiple Interim Stops, using "Interim Point Option" of "Best". When these do not have a Special Service assigned, OTM correctly adds one of the stops to the shipment.

When they are assigned Special Services, it is noted that these Special Services are all being assigned to the last stop on the shipment (regardless of which interim stop they were actually assigned to).

If, by chance, the same Special Service ID is used for different potential Interim Stops, this fails with the following Exception:

This is due to the fact that it is trying to assign the same Special Service to the same stop (i.e. the last one).
