Goal

There is a requirement  to implement 'Dynamic Cost Allocation' for Batches so that the percentage of costs allocated to each Product Item reflects the  Actual Yield. Currently, even though the Cost Allocation percentages on the Batch itself do seem to be recalculated as expected when the Batch is Closed, Actual Costing ignores these values and still uses the percentages which were put in place when the Batch was initially Released.

We suspect that this is because of the 'Layers' costing logic introduced to handle Batches which span more than one Period.

We also tried switching off the dynamic calculation and working out the Allocation Percentages manually.  However even though we updated the Batch with these figures, Actual Costing still used the original percentages copied in from the Production Formula.

How can we make Actual Costing use the Cost Allocation Percentages which were calculated dynamically or updated manually?
