The default responsibility Preferences will be added when provisioning a new user from Oracle Internet Directory to E-Business Suite unless you disable the Workflow event add_def_resp.
What if we need to do a bulk migration using the following:
java oracle.apps.fnd.oid.LDAPUserImport -v -dbc /u01/oracle/rel12/<INSTANCENAME>/inst/apps/<INSTANCENAME>_budsoradb/appl/fnd/12.0.0/secure/<FILE>.dbc -f /export/home/applint/oid/<FILE>.ldif -n uid -l <FILE>.log -tcaRecord N -defresp N
It appears that the workflow bypasses this event which is in our case disabled and the responsibility get created after LDAPUserImport for all users that we don't want, how can we prevent this ?
We started the agent(s) mentioned below and did the test with the bulk load into EBS using ldif file. the result is the same, the responsibility "Preferences SSWA" get assigned by default to the user and the customer is created under the newly user account created.
When we use the provisioning to load data from OID to EBS, the responsibility and customer are not created, which is the desired behavior.
The version of LDAPUserImport.java is :
D$Header: LDAPUserImport.java 120.11 2008/01/04 13:48:21 bmasa ship $
