GLXJEENT Funds Status Is Showing 'In-Process', Can Not Post Journal (Doc ID 1141794.1)

Symptoms

On reserving funds, sometimes associated with network errors or pc hanging, journal batches get stuck 'In Process' status for funds reservation. The Create Journals program (11i) or Budgetary Control Optimizer Program (BCOPT - R12) are unable to release these batches for funds reservation.

Due to this, funds are not reserved and Posting cannot be performed to update the balances as the funds checking locks the batch for further updates.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. General Ledger responsibility > Journals > Enter
  2. Create a new journal > Click on 'Reserve Funds' button
  3. Click on 'Other Information' tab and see the Funds area showing 'In Process'. This status remains stuck further
