Master Items Are Unavailable In iProcurement After Added To A Sourced Document (Doc ID 1156175.1)

Symptoms

On 11.5.10 after applied Procurement Release 11.5.10 Rollup Patch 12, Master items are unavailable in iProcurement. Only items with Blanket Puchase Agreement (BPA) and/or Approved Supplier List (ASL) assigned can be found.
(Applicable for R12 as well, as detailed in the solution)

Steps To Reproduce

1. Run "Catalog Data Extract - Items" with all options: Extract Contracts, Item Master, Template Lines and Internal Items.
2. Search an item in iProcurement: Only items assigned to a Blanket or a ASL are returned.
    No other Item can be found.
