Last updated on JANUARY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Application Object Library - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

After creating new function XX_FND_FNDFMFUN_RO as copy of seeded function FND_FNDFMFUN and it is made read only by adding the parameter QUERY_ONLY=YES,
when going into the new Read Only form and selecting a function, many of the fields are changeable.
Even though the save icon in the Toolbar is now greyed out also, when you close the form, it asks if you want to save changes. If you say yes, the changes made will be saved.
The Save button (Floppy Icon) is inactivated on the form,
but the form will allow you to make changes and save the changes by typing Ctrl-S.
