Goal
This demonstration covers the steps to enable "Material Shortage Alerts / Notifications" for viewing potential shortages while performing inventory transactions.
You can choose to receive an online shortage alert, a workflow based notification, or
both for system-defined and user-defined transaction types that have the transaction
actions of:
- Receipt into Stores
- Intransit Receipt
- Direct Organization Transfer
- Assembly Completion
- Negative Component Issue
Forms Generating Shortage Alerts and Notifications:
The following receipt transaction forms generate shortage alerts and notifications when
receiving items for which the system has detected a shortage.Receipts
