OMD Agent Fails When Order Relaease Has Remarks With RC Code

Symptoms
An order with remarks is planned on a shipment.
If a weight change is brought in on an order xml with a transaction code of IU – the change is propagated to the shipment.
If the xml used as a transaction code of RC – the agent (OMD agent with Event: ORDER - MODIFIED: INTEGRATION, and Action: ORDER RELEASE - MOD - EDIT SHIPMENT) fails, and the following error occurs.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upload order release with which contains order release remark xml: A_remark.xml
2. In UI select the order and plan it on a direct shipment (using any parameter set id)
3. Upload order release which has modified information e.g. Weight Change xml
4. Agent will fail with reported order
