Symptoms

You have just installed Oracle Applications. You receive the following error message on the form when trying to create a manual journal entry in General Ledger:

 

ERROR: 

APP-SQLGL-08067: Oracle General Ledger could not retrieve profile option
UNIQUE:SEQ_NUMBERS. Please contact your system administrator.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Under General Ledger Responsibility > Journals > Enter
  2. Attempt to enter a new journal
  3. See the error on the form

Changes

 Fresh install of the Oracle Applications.
