Symptoms


When attempting to create Batch Element Entries(BEE) Batch Lines, the following error occurs.

APP-FND-01206: This record already exists. You entered a duplicate value or sequence of values that must be unique for every record


OR

Error:  Procedure pay_btl_shd.constraint_error at Step 10
Cause:  The procedure   pay_btl_shd.constraint_error has created an error at Step 10.    
Action: Contact your system administrator quoting the procedure pay_btl_shd.constraint_error and Step 10.



Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Select responsibility US HRMS Manager
  2. Date track to [Date]
  3. Select function "Batch Element Entry"
  4. Name your batch and select your controls
  5. Save
  6. Select the option "element Lines" to begin entering data
  7. Select element from the LOV
  8. Select OK
  9. Tab to Assignment and start entering employee Id and amount
  10. Save transactions and error occurs
