Error "java.lang.NullPointerException" When Clicking the Update Benefits Button in Employee Self-Service > Benefits (Doc ID 1222174.1)

Goal

When attempting to click the Update Benefits button in Self-Service > Benefits, an Unexpected Error occurs.  Below are the Exception Details:
