Symptoms

When attempting to book an RMA for a logistics line in depot repair after applying patch 10114254, the following error occurs.

Error raise from calling OE_ORDER_PUB.Process_Line API


Before this patch was applied this process worked fine. Also, it only happens when the logistics line has a sub-inventory populated on it, or a project/task is populated on the RO details tab.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 

  1. Apply Patch 10114254:R12.CSD.B - 12.1 CONSOLIDATED PATCH FOR BUG FIXES BETWEEN DATES 15-SEP-10 TO 30-SEP-10
  2. Create a new SR and RO in Depot Repair
  3. Create return line and try to submit order -> error occurs
